He has made great contributions to the development of computers in Taiwan, and he is honored as “the Father of computers”. He is a famous world-culture man and the president of Taiwan Chinese Cultural Association. He discussed with Ma Ying-jeou about the communication of China mainland and Taiwan. In June of 1988, he led the first cultural and commercial group during the late 40 years to visit China mainland, which broke the frozen situation between Taiwan and mainland.
